I’d like to register my bike in case it is stolen. In Belgium I’ve found:

* [https://mybike.brussels/](https://mybike.brussels/) which seems to be Brussels-specific
* [https://www.bikebank.be/](https://www.bikebank.be/) which seems to be specific to the province of Antwerpen

I’m in neither of the above places.

Are there any bicycle registration sites that are national or better yet cover all of the EU?

    Then where are you?

    Do we need to list every songle Belgian instance if you need help?

    Quite often the site of the communal hall has this information. Just google “friets graveren [city]”.

  2. Don’t take too much effort in bike registration as this is pretty useless for more expensive bikes. These bikes are exported to places where no registration system exists.

    Just take a picture of your frame number. Maybe it can be used for future identification

  3. Recover a bike after it’s stolen?
    I had 3 bikes stolen in just as many years , all registered. None recovered. Police told me they just get shipped to another country. Now I just drive a car.
