“Support” does not have to mean you like them or even vote for them, just which party you think best represents your views. I’m from Poland and recently became interested with hungarian politics, one of the things I wanted to check the most is what the support for the parties looks like among relatively young people. I’m familiar with this poll from median, but I’m curious how it looks specifically on this subreddit.

This sub is a leftlib bubble, far from real world data
lol what political party? There is the fidesz and the vague collection of nobodies we call “opposition”
Kunhalmi Ági represents my view. Anybody else is out of my pheripherals.
Two Tailed Dog Party
I support whoever pays me!
None of them. Maybe the two tailed dog.
There is no viable opposition is Hungary.
>which party you think best represents your view
A though question, I had to check… but none of them.
Currently the political views are pretty polarized and most of the opposition parties only aim is to do the exact opposite of what the current government does regardless how stupid that could be.
On the ~~last~~ latest election most of the opposition parties presented themselves as a joint alliance, they published joint political goals, but it was full of unrealistic “bullshit”, and you can not really they they represents your views if most of their specified goals are know to be lies.
And if everybody lies to me anyways, why not have a good laugh and choose the most appealing one, like *free beer and eternal life*.

Fidesz. i will get the downtown. You need to know, this sub, and most sub in reddit are hate the Fidesz and the goverment. But its just a bubble for them. This is not the reality. 🙂
HTTDP/MKKP, even though they are way left of me, they are the only party who *may* not be on either Fidesz or Muscovy payroll.
I am liberal, so I can’t agree with the politics of Fidesz. But I also think that the “left side” currently in Hungary is unable to fulfill the position. So I don’t know, maybe we need a new “left side”
Momentum
Although they’re very idealistic and unable to find the necessary fundings to grow, but pro-EU, anti-corrupt and don’t mix religion with politics. Good enough for me, and would love to see how they run the country.
(Unfortunately Orban’s state capture would pretty much make their governing impossible.)
Fidesz, only Fidesz, very Fidesz.
Currently I feel a bit burnt-out politically, mostly since last year’s election. The opposition parties tried to run together as a collective against Fidesz, and they still got nowhere…fidesz’s 2/3 is stronger than ever. To a certain degree I think we can blame the opposition for this, I don’t think they did a good job uniting with each other (and a big reason for this is their own political differences, which I do understand).
To answer your question, I have supported Momentum and LMP before in previous elections, but at the moment I don’t align with any of them, especially the latter. Hadhazy Akos is doing important work, but he is just one man. Karacsony Gergely too (I’m pretty sure a lot of people will disagree), however I don’t think he will leave local BP politics anytime soon.
So honestly I don’t have much hope for the future, in fact I’m scared Hungary will be even more radicalised with the rise of Mi hazank.
I’m a centrist liberal, so the closest is Momentum.
I sympathize with MKKP and the soon to form Mindenki Magyarországa Néppárt as well, they are center left and center right, anti-corruption NGO turned party.
I was hopeful about Liberálisok as well, I like their leader, but they are as good as dead and they had to grafted themselves onto DK, a social democratic party for funds and positions. It’s a damn shame. DK, MSZP, LMP, Jobbik is everything wrong with Hungarian politics, and Mi Hazánk is just our version of fascist, far-right, anti-EU, pro-Putin, conspiracy peddler bullshit party that sells itself for the highest bidder. I’m pretty sure they get benefits for their active measures.
I used to like Fidesz back when they were a pro-EU, anti-Kremlin, peoples party in the 2000-s. KDNP is an abomination, an unholy marriage of church and state, and they all deserve to rot away in hell.
I am a faithful soldier of George Soros!
For a Hungarian this can be difficult to answer. The easy question is: which political party/parties do you hate?
