Cambridge Faculty of Divinity Ignores Demands for Inquiry into Peter Thiel’s Far-Right Influence

  1. Is Jordan Peterson really such an evil influence that he should be banned from public speaking? From what I’ve read he is definitely Tory in outlook, but so are 40-odd percent of the population.

He seems to just be an annoying self-publicist with some shitty self-help books to sell.

  2. I defy any of you to find one single thing that Jordan Peterson has said that is racist. One thing – *in full context*, mind, not some click-bait headline. One single thing.

*EDIT: As predicted, comment downvoted but not countered.*

  3. A lot of people in these comments should spend less time extoling the virtues of JP and more time tidying their rooms.

  4. Why does anyone care about Jordan Peterson? If you like his books sure go mad it’s hacky self-help but millions of people read those books each year. If you don’t, he’s not exactly dangerous.

Personally I think he’s part of the ‘epic debater’ crew where people act like he’s far more impressive than he is. He just says things with authority and people think the simple analogies are relatable

  5. These assholes get far more free publicity by banning their ability to speak. We can’t have a functioning democracy where some pick and choose who can speak. If they aren’t inciting violence let them share their views. Democracy shouldn’t be sanitised. The average UK citizen couldn’t give a fuck about oxbridge debates and will ignore.
