Portugal fuelling European economy

  1. How could Denmark produce less than 2000 bikes a year? Are these artisanal hand-made bikes? Is there no bike industry?

  2. The number for the Netherlans seems extremely low. The Dutch bureau of statistics claims 1.2 million. Which is about triple this graph shows.

  3. How come portugal is the world’s bicycle superpower? Is the most popular bike manufacturer from Portugal?

  4. what does production mean? Putting parts together or manufacture the main parts like the frame of the bike inhouse?

I guess all parts are imported from China.

  5. Isn’t this just Portugal catching up? There was almost no bicycle infrastructure just a few years ago.

Same with stats that for example show that Serbia or something had the highest post-Covid recovery. After having one of the deepest drops first.
