  1. They didn’t have guns, they were photographing lorries with a wide lens camera. Member of the public thought they had a gun mistakenly.

    I called the police after some twat was shooting a pistol in the area behind our flat and they did diddly squat. Even told them I was certain it was a firearm as I lived in the US for many years and had been around guns enough to know what they sound like.

    They just fobbed me off, didn’t even send out a patrol car. Then literally a week or two later SO19 arrested some kid after someone reported seeing him with brandishing a pistol. Not even the bloody Met.
