Six new traffic cameras will operate in Nicosia, Limassol as of next Tuesday

  1. Anyone know how I can see if I have fines? I’ve seen the Limassol camera flash a few times, wondering if it was for me

  2. I wonder if they changed the traffic light cycle.

    The one on prodromou, there is no orange light between the turn right green arrow and the red light, so no way to know when you might be entering intersection on a red.

  3. Cyprus accident rates would plummet if they put red light cameras on most major junctions. The speeding problem isn’t really very big in Cyprus; the main problems are:

    * people driving really close to the vehicle in front
    * turning without signalling
    * halting half-way through a turn into a car park/drive-way (e.g. Zorpas)
    * turning into a main road from a side-road while seeing incoming traffic, but doing it anyway because YOLO
    * #1 is probably running red lights
