This is the senior met police officer that the met tried to get rid of after her conviction for possession of indecent images of children – but the met got sued, lost, and the courts ordered the met to reinstate her, despite her being a registered sex offender.
I think this is what Sir Mark Rowley was talking about when he said that it’s too difficult to sack problematic officers.

In this case and I realise the sensitivities involved this was a witch hunt. I genuinely feel she was treated extremely poorly. Foolish perhaps but nothing more. Racism might well have played a part as well.
