Hi everyone
I have received the year-end statement for the service charges of my former apartment. Because of a move, it is only costs for January + February. However, it seems very high to me, but I do not really understand whether it is only because of the increased prices, or because of an incorrect calculation or calculation key. For info: the 15’886 are the cost for the whole building for the whole year.
Thanks a for any hint. However, I did plan to call the administration and ask for it, but if anyone has any hints or even a confirmation of the written, I would of course be grateful!

From what I can see, the heating costs for the whole building were 15’886 for Jan+Feb, not for the whole year. They’re charging you 3.9% (1,402/36,000 – your share apparently) of that. Don’t know if that share is correct though.
Also, this seems to be for Jan+Feb 2022, before the war and the higher 2023 prices?
We have a 4.5 zimmer and I pay 80 for 3 months
I think you were hit by 2 things.
First, you paid 100.-/month year round, but the heating costs are not distributed evenly, so in summer you were overpaying and in winter underpaying. You only lived there for 2 winter months that correspond to 25.7% of the yearly heating costs according to the weighted table, while you paid 200 / 1200 = 16.7% of the yearly contribution. You definitely underpaid and need to cover that.
Second, despite the prices only going up later in the year, i.e. after you moved out, the calculation is done yearly, so you are partially shouldering the increased costs. I know it is not fair, but I think this is legal and official way of calculating it, so I doubt you can fight that.
I’d recommend to compare this with previous year first.
Once I got a 4k CHF bill because the lady in Verwaltung has put the decimal point in a wrong place. She charged me 10x higher than usual and didn’t even bother to check.
It makes sense to call them and ask to check again, maybe they missed something.
Ist ja nix …m hab 1200. Blechen müssen
Yep, had the same. Moved out per 01.03, had to pay extra 350 CHF for the two months of the year :/
