Might have really been driven all the way from Italy, but generally-speaking such transport is covered by Luxembourg Air Rescue
Or… it could be someone who just purchased an ambulance and decided to bring it back by driving it?
Probably repatriation via travel insurance, not all repatriation is done via air rather mostly by the land.
Maybe an italian tourist got hurt and wanted, or had to, travel home via road.
>I can’t think if any good reasons. What do you think?
Luxembourg resident being returned home by road to Luxembourg. Italian resident being picked up to be returned home to Italy.
Seen a few Dutch ambulance vehicles in Luxembourg as well, guess it’s picking up or bringing back residents?
Why not?!
There is a trend to buy used ambulances and convert them to campers.
Luxembourgish SAMU is too expensive?🤔
Restaurant mafia boss is blacklisted in Lux after threatening too many doctors here.
The Italian ambulance was in Luxembourg, because it wanted to make sure nobody would “pasta-way” without proper medical attention!
Discreet cash delivery to Italian customers of a Luxembourgish bank. 😅
Follow GPS to hospital….
Maybe it was up for sale and someone bought it with the intention of converting it into something else?
Or yeah, maybe a patient needed repatriation, and it could only be done by road.
