Glorious time of year. Not many places I’d rather be than England right now.
Are gooselings like goslings but with less Ryan?
Warm?
It’s bloody freezing!
Beautiful.
Must be lovely having a garden backing onto the water like that! Jealous 🙂
And covered in Greenfly poo, I’ve never seen so much than this year.

Looks like a lovely spot.
this is not my UK
Gooselings.
Thank you 😁 I always appreciate a good gongoozle with a gaggle of goslings 😊
The babies are so cute n fluffy but the adults are soooooo squabbley! They are even mean to the babies until the mama and papa rage back at them. The other ducks, wisely, seem to avoid them!
They’re called gooselets, mate
West Yorkshire by any chance?
Looks remarkably similar to a section of the canal through Milton Keynes, where a couple of the gardens that back onto it have little jetties like that. I guess most UK canals look the same.
There are usually a few swanlings around at this time of year.
I just wanted to say thank you for posting this. I had a really exhausting day yesterday and got to the end of it, logged into Reddit and this was the first post I saw and it was a real breath of fresh air. Very much what I needed.
