Since reddit seems to be going down soon, here are a list of alternatives. I dunno if the creators and mods of r/Switzerland have already created a Swiss community over there but I guess it’ll be time soon

Reddit seems to be going the way of digg.com 14 years ago when I emigrated over here. Now it seems that the time to move somewhere else has arrived.
I’ve created an account already on [kbin.social](https://kbin.social/) and [Lemmy](https://join-lemmy.org/) but they seem to be alredy hugged to death so I didn’t manage to create a community for Switzerland and I’m going to bed now 🙂 I hope other people will follow, cheers.
Wonderful, thank you!
Kbin seems a bit odd, but I have to look into it a bit more. Lemmy seems to be a very good alternative. I wish the swiss or DACH subreddits would create their own instance so we can start on a platform that respects its users. Especially the ones that are blind or need other special applications

Why? What makes you think so?
For now I am looking at squabbles.io, very young and “basic” but with an exponential growth since the Reddit API drama.

Lol, this is ridiculous.
Reddit is not dying, 3rd party apps are angry because of the api price increase. Which is fair.
This post is just advertising reddit alternatives. Which is also fair.
Just don’t lie.
Reddit is not going down, this is but a micro dent on their profits.
