Almost a full month since I last experienced any rain in Northern Denmark. It is getting a bit dusty in places. I have given up on the small kitchen garden. Watering with groundwater is way to expensive.
Southern Europe climate plants are thriving though. Basil and thyme is liking the dryness just fine and the Mint I got to restrict. It is outcompeting even the toughest weeds.
The established old fruit trees is also promising a plentiful bounty.
So win some, lose some. Variety is the key. Next year everything might drown instead leaving seaweed as the best option.
Water restrictions and ban on open fire is already established is some areas, and soon the the entire nation will get those. The midsommer tradition of large bonfires with Danes singing regardless of ability to sing, is risking cancellation. (The bonfire part, not the singing, drinking or eating hot dogs).
Middle of France, 21 degrees, ORANGE WARNING

The difference in how fun England is the summer compared to the winter is amazing. Do not come here in the winter. Plan your trip for the summer.
whats the problem? I remember being a kid (now i’m 52) and june was hot as hell, every night out playing outside with friends, it was all summer that way – NOW we get 30 degress and everyone says it’s global warming.

It hasn’t rained for 2 months here in Berlin and it’s not going to rain at least for the next two weeks, the heat isn’t the problem the lack of rain is.
I will chose to belive everything on there is wrong when my home city was waaay hotter than on this picture

This weather sucks; I feel disgusting, even after showering. I can’t sleep properly. My brain melted, evaporated, and went out of my ears, hopefully it will return when it gets a bit colder next week.

33 here today in southeastern Spain. Fairly comfortable compared to the 36-38 we had around this time last year.

Finnish summer has been perfect so far. So much sunlight with long days, nice and cozy warm temperature about 17C-20C, shorts and t-shirt every day but no sweating when outside. AC not needed during nights.
I want to unite the nordic countries, take schleswig from Germany, and take the Kola region from Russia.
And then move to the Kola region, and get that sweet sweet +8C June weather
