  1. Well, the current drought might have something to do with it. Normally, Danish summers see a lot more rain. Still, a great achievement.

  2. Looking back, perhaps the RU-UA war was a blessing in disguise in terms of the energy transition. Forced Europe to speed things up.

    Even with gas prices normalising, I don’t see the old status quo coming back. Fossil fuels aren’t going to be gone tomorrow, but their heyday are now well past.

  3. The solar potential in Denmark is not even that bad, despite being very seasonal. You can still get almost 1,000 kWh per kWp and year. And with PV getting cheaper again, it’s a very logical choice to build lots of it.
