  11. I used to work in localisation for games and entertainment, which obviously included subtitling. This was very well done. One of the challenges is expressing what each person is saying within the limited time that doesn’t always fit when translating from one language to another. As someone fluent in both languages I think you did an excellent job.

    With regards to the content of the video, that guy is right to get annoyed. Back when I worked in entertainment we’d get a lot of requests for our people to show up to different media events. I’d be absolutely fuming if some dickhead wasted our time like this. To put it in context for some people, imagine being asked to work overtime by your boss for a project that you’re invested in. You think “well, I’m not getting paid, but I really do want this project to go well”. So you cancel whatever plans you have and show up to work. Then you sit around for an hour waiting on what exactly you were needed for, and someone just brushes you off with “yeah doesn’t matter, turns out we don’t need you”.

  14. Lo mejor es que Mercedes Milá reacciona con mucha calma a la rabieta y hasta le sonríe cuando se calienta más, lo que le pone aún más nervioso. Se pensaría que la iba a acojonar con el órdago de irse y lo repite 3 veces pero a ella no se la puede pelar más. Mal enemigo era esa mujer para echarle un pique en directo.

  17. Gran momento televisivo. Y tenía toda la razón del mundo en enfadarse, si le habían traído al plató con la excusa de hablar de su libro y no lo habían hecho en ningún momento. También comenta que le habían dicho que el tema tratado en el programa de hoy tenía relación con su libro y, al parecer, no lo tenía. Vamos, que le tomaron el pelo, y él se negó a tragar y decidió montar el pollo padre.

  27. Recuerdo este programa, lo estaba viendo en directo. Gran parte del programa se dedicó a la guerra que esta teniendo lugar en la antigua Yugoslavia y en los balkanes. Justo después de sus palabras, uno de los espectadores que estaba ahí, le dijo que lo mejor que podía hace Francisco Umbral, era marcharse del programa y todos le aplaudieron. En ese mismo programa, o en otro, Umbral comparó a los de Aranda de Duero con analfabetos lo cual hizo que un par de semanas después la alcadesa de Aranda dijera en un programa televisivo, que Umbral es era una persona non grata.

    Cuantos años han pasado.
