I’m working on a list of every country’s most iconic cult film (list here: https://boxd.it/n5ZFs) and wondered if anyone could help me figure out Lithuania’s entry.
I’m looking for a film that might not be well-known outside the country’s borders. Perhaps it’s a film everyone knows, and is hugely popular only to Lithuanian audiences, even if it wasn’t popular with critics. Or maybe it’s a film that wasn’t well-received by audiences or critics, but has gained a cult following in the years since its release.
Any suggestions would be most welcome!

Really, not really: Redirected.
Zero:lilac lithuania
Maybe [Kažkas atsitiko](https://m.imdb.com/title/tt19498498/) but it’s more of a collection of music performances and clips
Velnio nuotaka
Gotta be “Paskutiniai Brėmeno muzikantai”
Herkus Mantas.
Tadas Blinda. Probably the most quoted in 1980ies.
Must be the first “Zero” movie

As you can see from the comments, we dont really have a cult movie. I think every period has a few quoted films. Lithuanian film industry is in its developing/rebirth phase only now, there is no cult about it.

I vote for Velnio nuotaka
Vaikai iš Amerikos viešbučio
Velnio nuotaka
I second Velnio nuotaka and Paskutiniai Bremeno muzikantai
My favourite is the latter
Zero is a good choice for a cult film specifically.
“Dievas man atsiuntė balandi!”
