We are meant to be getting some rain at the weekend and it is needed. But it won’t be much, the end of a storm system is coming over parts of the country. The weather will be very unsettled.

The weather has been good for about 10 days. We’ve had a pretty terrible spring/start of summer otherwise

Noooo I want the rest of the summer to be like this. Just sitting outside during my break feeling the warmth of the sun while having Irish strawberries, Jesus Christ there’s no better feeling

Nah, I reckon it’s gonna be a long, hot, fairly dry summer. Like summer of 2018.

I’ve worked for the last 7 days straight,and I’m finally off for two days.been excited about lazing around the garden, enjoying a few drinks. I’ll be disappointed ( but not surprised!)if it’s overcast.

No. It’s set to get even hotter next week too. We’ll get a blast of thunderstorms over the weekend however, where it’ll be warm and humid.
The misery of some people. 3 days of possible showers forecast and ‘is that our summer over?’. No, we just don’t live in a literal desert. Yet.

It’s raining in Spain! – imagine going on holidays to Spain for a week and it pisses rain while everyone back home is sending you pictures of their sunburn. Long may it last!
Looking forward to the pattern change! Some actual heat on the way 27/28C instead of North Sea clag or sunny days only reaching 15-20C! Ireland has been very lucky recently but east England has been terrible (we’re usually warmer).

Weird that it all ended as the exams were starting. Sure it’s only meant to be *starting* now! It’s like someone in the weather control committee didn’t get the memo. 😜

This is just a hiatus, high pressure will reassert itself to the north so that easterly breeze will return.
