Today me and Davide will drive to Mellieha and explore an other beautiful area of the Maltese Islands. Our main aim was to explore Ghar Tuta (Berries Cave) , also known as Latnija cave . This unique cave is very big and resembles more a sinkhole . It’s very popular with rock climbers too. I wil also explore two other features near by at the edge of the cliff. Here we find 2 rock cut stairs, one of them featuring a man made arch.

Beautiful. I climbed in Latnija Cave way back in 2011. The rock climbing community did an amazing job cleaning out all the illegally dumped rubbish. Prosit to the filmmakers and the climbers!
