Traces of Poland’s multiculturalism are still visible in cities and towns. There was a photo with a protestant church and something for Orthodox believers. Now I present to you the synagogue in Tykocin (with great Bimah) as one of the best preserved examples of Jewish sacral architecture in Poland.

  1. More information about the Jewish Synagogue and even Jewish cuisine you will find here [Tykocin](https://gotopoland.net/tykocin,m5,s313.html) But Tykocin is not only a synagogue but also amazing castle with interesting history in the background. If you are in Podlasie, close to this town, it is worth visiting 🙂

  2. Thanks for sharing! Curious to know how it survived and is in good shape. The old synagogue in Poznań where I live is in a shameful state. It’s a bit of a hot potato that no one can agree on what to do with it.

  3. If you ever visit Tykocin, don’t neglect to see one of the few castles in this region of Poland just on the other side of the river (it’s a reconstruction though), the local stork tourist zone and the biggest flea market in the region (every first Sunday of the month) in Kiermusy just next door.
