Hundreds of red and green flags on the side of the road. Not sure what they are marking. Could be a gas pipeline but it didn’t look really straight.

It seems like a new bike lane is being build – the flags are marking the area that need to be expropriated.

I did a 5K in the hills there once. Surprised it didn’t kill me.
A big new airport, to make sure we get all the visitors when Denmark becomes the new Hawaii due to temperature rising on earth.
Probably just an old minefield.
Flags are put there after a surveyor has measured the area, probebly new houses are being build, maybe new highspeed landlines etc etc
It’s because of great white sightings.
The Americans deployed a bunch there after ww2, in a secret ploy to trim the German population, by having the German tourists vacationing along the west coast be eaten by the sharks.
The reason we don’t hear about it, is the American SS, keeping it under wraps.
