We know she took the money into her company then moved it to offshore accounts which can’t be probed. It doesn’t matter that she can’t return the money, what matters is she is convicted for defrauding the UK.

    I’d support a party that pledged “we don’t care if it takes 20 years. We WILL get that money back and anyone who abused the system WILL get put in prison.”

  25. Shameless phucks like this get away with it with little backlash and the average Joe probably had little to say about it. When it comes to welfare, just look at the never ending efforts from the government to degrade and punish those on benefits, to make their experience of claiming as emotionally taxing as they can and to further alienate them in the public’s eyes to further perpetuate the myth of scroungers taking taxpayers’ money.
