Wow, when even the Daily mail is saying he’s in trouble you know things are bad.
Good. The tories have been a disaster for this country, just as they always have been, largely because they are more focussed on how they can use the power to enrich themselves and their friends and do a shit job of actually running the country.
Bleak? That’s the cheeriest headline I’ve read all day!
I wouldn’t call it bleak, apart from the fact there are still people that will vote for these cretins.
If you say it 5 times at night in a bathroom mirror it comes true.
How anyone can vote Tory with a clear conscience is beyond me. They’ve spent the last 13 years fucking the entire country over. Repeatedly. It’s been one clusterfuck after another. They’ve proved their sheer ineptitude and incompetence. They couldn’t organise a piss up in a brewery.
That doesn’t seem accurate that would put tory vote Shere on 15%. I would love to see it but I don’t belive this being true reflection of reality
The same party, people have been in power for more than a decade.
It’s going to get worse as well.
There are good leaders and bad leaders, but there are also people who have the badge but aren’t leaders at all.
He takes so long to comment on anything he seems invisible, clueless and can’t fart without 40 spads examining his pants before he let’s rip.
DM throwing mud to make BJ’s resignation seem like an act of courage ahead of a comeback.
BJ’s ran away like a coward as usual.
key pledges that no one asked for and also pledges that exist purely to mend the tories disastrous governance
Those thirty five percent are the only ones who’ll be allowed to vote, though.
Only 35% will *admit* to doing so again more likely.
probs vote reform or something. Think I’d like to see a nation wake up now instead of suicide.
I’m surprised any sane person would vote for anyone in this current Tory Party.
Unelected Rishi got to pick his own goals and despite there being a mere 5 and having the might of the British government behind him and the highest tax burden in modern times he still can’t make progress on even them. Just the worst. We need an election now but instead we have another year of things getting worse and worse to look forward to.
So 35% of people will vote for Sunak due to sheer blind loyalty to the Tory Party – because it certainly can’t be for his leadership skills. Until Joe Public stop voting for the party that they always have, and actually use their vote based on which party’s policies tick the most boxes, will we ever see change in this country rather than the big 2 complacently fucking the country up continuously.
He hasn’t even sorted last year’s pay argument with most of the public sector. In some areas they won’t even let negotiations begin. Inflation remains high, etc
Why would anyone vote Tory?
Feels like the current situation is the biggest shit show we’ve had to endure. How much more damage are they going to cause before the next GE.
Thank god we’ve got such a progressive, forward thinking and trustworthy opposition party waiting in the wings; ready to take over and address all the looming dangers we’re currently rocketing toward. I have total faith we won’t just end up with a more hardline neo-fascists Tory party in five years time… totally.
Its hard to believe 35% would vote tory. Scandals/cover ups and law breaking and inevitability leading us to harsher living standards. They did nothin but destroy the economy and peoples lives and nobody went to prison for it either. they just “resign” from position to not face prosecution.
I wont vote tory as their main key pledge is “make rich, richer. And the poor, poorer.
Why on earth would anyone vote Tory now? It’s astonishing that people would still vote for them
“Bleak”?
I say the only ‘bleak’ part of this is that it’s taken 12 years of economic stagnation, disastrous erosion of public services and infrastructure, soaring inequality, food insecurity, blatant corruption and ceaseless political squabbling for those voters to realise what they voted for.
People not voting Tory is the brightest future we’ve had in 13 years!
Is that from a Daily Fail poll? They must be doing badly then!
When the people that run the country are millionaires or even billionaires in their own right, how the fuck can they see ANYTHING from the perspective of someone in a part-time, minimum wage job???
House of commons should be trimmed back and made up of a “jury service” type ensemble of people from all walks of life. Because someone might be on benefits, struggling with a couple kids doesn’t mean they couldn’t throw in a really great idea during a meeting with say, I don’t know, a surgical consultant, an accountant and a farmer, discussing where best to spend money, how to run stuff.
The people that run for top government jobs, and the way it is done is, in my opinion extremely out dated and not fit for purpose.
Plus the old “Jobs for the boys” where “friends of” get lucrative contracts they never should be anywhere near. And so many levels of mid management….load of bollocks.
BECAUSE WE VOTED FOR BORIS AND DID NOT SUPPORT THE COUP.
I wonder how long till history scholars start speaking truth. Like how many recall removing Thatcher for Major was a catastrophic error of Tory judgement.
What’s bleak about this is the fact that 35% of Tory voters are fucked in the head.
No, surely not! A useless fucking lying Torie bastard?! Well who would have thought?!
Unfortunately, voting Tory is like masturbating, many people do it, but very few own up to it
That’s not bleak, that’s positive. The end of the Tories is a good thing.
GOOD – fuck the Tories and fuck anyone who votes for them
F**k the Tory party and their lack of decency and aptitude
Bleak? It’s heartwarming that people are finally getting their heads out of their arse regarding the Tories.
…and that 35% must have had their heads stuck in a hole for the last 13 years.
It certainly is bleak that 35% of the population have this thought.

Listening to opinions on how immoral, unethical, unscrupulous Alexander Pfeffel Johnson was throughout his career and how he managed to sway opinions of the public in his favour, even when they knew clearly they disliked him, it is easy for Rishi Sunak to sway public opinion with one or two speeches or meeting with other world leaders to upstage his image.
What do the Tories care? They’ve started dropping out now, they’ve got what they wanted, bled the country dry and now they can quit, collect their pensions and take up their cushy jobs with lobbying firms etc.
They’ve fucked us all raw for over a decade, it doesn’t matter a hill of beans to them if they’re out at the next election because they were never in it for the job. They only wanted the power, prestige and ability to grind our bones for their Waitrose bread.
