Asked the missus if there was a festival on. She said it was just Harry styles playing. I thought she was wrong untill I counted the amount of men in that crowd. I see 3.

I’ve only been tp Slane twice, Chili Peppers when I was a teen with my uncle and cousin. And Metallica I’m 20q9. Both magical nights and forever memories I’ll cherish.
Slane is a great venue as messy as it can get, it’s part of the fun!

Went to see Metallica there. It was great craic.
Some lad was so off his tree by the time Bokassa plaid that every time he tried to get back up the hill he ended up falling and rolling down. Then there were the lads so pissed drunk they just pissed where they stood.
But an epic show.
Followed by a force-march to make the bus before it left.
Slane is on..ah that’s why it’s raining!!

all over the counrty tonight there are a load of lads in pubs and clubs wondering why its such a sausage fest tonight
I’m going to wake up in the morning to read on reddit/twitter etc…..how it was an absolute shitshow for people leaving slane and getting home.
I didn’t realise until this morning that Dublin Bus weren’t running buses to and from Slane……no wonder people had issues getting there

So, I actually grew up near slane.
From where I live, not only can I hear the concerts in slans but due to the hills causing acoustics, I can hear it perfectly.
Met parents recently and they told me what was the point in me getting a ticket to Harry styles in England when they can hear it from their house perfectly
I feel so ripped off that I left forgot as I haven’t lived in meath for like 5 years .
You can just imagine how loud that concert would be with the collective fangirl screaming the whole way through.
Probably enough to cause seismic activity!
No slane girl this year is a good sign
Last time I was there was to see Foo Fighters about 10 years ago.. Loved Slane.

Bereal went off last night when the concert was on. Literally every single other post on my feed was from the concert. Weird to see so many people I know, but who don’t necessary know each other, at the same place at the same time
I think I see a stage somewhere off in the distance there..
