Great ad and jingle, they did what marketing is supposed to do and make you want the products. I remember them in shops all cartons and packets of larder products and lighters of course!
Pretty sure the brand still exists. Unfortunately it’s so outdated I’d be surprised anyone would stock it.
Yup remember it very well. As a child I adored the logo and artwork of the logo the little farmhouse with the trees around it. I wanted to go there because it was so pretty 😂

It was a regular occurrence to say “hey do you want anything in the shop” “yea get us a lighter…a HOMESTEAD lighter” nothing else would do.
Best lighter.
More recently, there have been ads for a crowd offering senior carers to come to your home. Can’t recall the name or the tagline but it reminded me of homestead.
