Don’t block Boris Johnson returning to Parliament, Jacob Rees-Mogg warns Tories

  1. This is the woman presiding over the Privileges Committee investigating Boris.

Harriet Harman has two speeding convictions and one driving while using a mobile phone conviction. Equal to 3 FPN’s and she still kept her job.

This woman was one of three future Labour MPs who were Legal Officers for the National Council for Civil Liberties ( known as Liberty these days), which gave grants to an organisation called PIE which stated “Childhood sexual experiences, willingly engaged in, with an adult result in no identifiable damage”

The NCCL also said “that the age of consent should be abolished altogether and that the age of consent should be lowered to 14 – or 10 “provided it is demonstrated that consent was clearly given by the child”

  2. He was in parliament on Friday morning, he’s not even been gone 48 hours, and he left of his own accord.

If he wanted to be in parliament why did he quit?

  3. He shouldn’t be allowed in politics anymore after everything he’s done, especially basically getting kicked out as PM and now as MP.

He’s basically had to quit out of shame/pressure twice now. Allowing him back would just show it doesn’t matter what you do, you can get away with anything.

Him having to resign seems to be his only ‘punishment’. And it’s always that was with politicians. They can of something bad, ‘resign’, stay quiet a few weeks/months while basically still doing the same or similar job, and then act like nothing happened. Where are the actual consequences?

Just look at Trump (Johnson is almost the UK’s equivalent), who despite being a criminal, is still somehow one of the top runners for running for president again – and that’s after being under investigation for so much bad stuff. If it was anyone else they’d be locked up already. That just shows what kind of people they are if they want someone like that in any position of power.

  4. Is it not strange that a guy with this level of corruption could actually be voted back in.

  5. This shouldn’t be down voted. It needs to be updated so people know how slimey, sleazy and shameless these people are

  6. If Boris can be sacked in disgrace, then resign in disgrace and still get back in then British politics is well and truly fucked beyond repair.

  7. quite simple – set the punishment and suspend it until (or if) he returns then implement it the first available opportunity. If it is a suspension of more than 10 (?) days this should trigger a bi-election as normal.

If the Cons wish IN ADDITION to suspend the whip that is up to them and what level of blatant corruption they are comfortable with.
