Been the case in most EU countries for many years now. Barely notice as hotels put it on your bill.
How does it work for UK residents with an EU passport and full settled status?

Tourists generally have costs associated with them.
This should help with that.
At least the UK government can now tell every UK citizen that “At least you didn’t have to pay the entry fee! See, we’re helping with the cost of living for you peasants”

Seems a bit racist to just single out travellers, are they planning on charging other ethnic groups?

I trust this is the usual cash only and no change given type of entry fee that you get in a lot of countries.
The EU should raise rhe fee for Brits to enter so we don’t get those assholes coming over anymore.
Valid for 2 years. $0.016 a day. Seems like a good deal.
The small boats arrive with refugees anre now just criminals dodging the fee to enter the country.
They don’t get enough money from immigrants with visa and NHS surcharge?
This is outrageous. If I were to enter Britain with a non-British passport then I would be denied due to not paying this poll tax.
Or the rich/big corporations could, y’know, pay their taxes.
