Wouldn’t it have been cheaper and more useful to just pave that section as a dedicated cycle way?
If I was in Kiltimagh, I’d probably do it… if it wasn’t too expensive.
I’d rather they just put a feckin train on it, but at least they aren’t ripping up the line. I’d give it a go at least once.
We’ve done it in Vendée a few times. It’s great fun. It books up for the summer very quickly.
First I heard of it. Definitely going to do it.
Only if it was a strava segment
Is there a chance the tracks could bend?
Can’t overtake so not a hope am I spending my time stuck behind some yanks.
€40 is very expensive, so it won’t appeal to individuals or couples, but it may appeal to groups.
No, not for €40. I’m sure it was much cheaper than converting to a Greenway but…I’d have pushed for the Greenway.
In the 1800s people would have thought we’d all have private flying machines to get around at this stage. Turns out we ditched steam trains and now self-propel our carriages.
Looks fun though.
Would they fit the Luas tracks, and how much for one?
You’re kinda stuck though no – as in, you need to do the full 13km once you start it, and can’t get out along the way and look around?
I just googled it and it seems like it only opens from 2pm to 5:30pm, Friday to Sunday which is pointless in my opinion. There doesn’t seem to be a way to book online either.

€40 seems very expensive too.
