EU in row over inclusion of gas and nuclear in sustainability guidance

A senior EU diplomat said they expected to see nuclear in the text because “Von der Leyen seems to have promised it to Macron and the other nuclear states”.

    So it’s likely they aren’t going to be labeled as green.

  2. In effect this could end up allowing subsidies for gas. Lunacy. Not sure why the furor over nuclear though. It isn’t perfect but it’s probably the best stepping stone to clean energy
