I don’t remember this one but I do have a vague memory of the orb transforming the guy into a cowboy
Harp ran a fucking brilliant promotion around the camel at the time.
So, they’d come to the pub and give you “harp money” which customers then used to bet on camel races that were shown on the pub big screen, so you could win more harp money, which you could use to buy tShirts, hoodies, and other merch.
Wasn’t there one where a Viking raiding party found themselves in a pub. I seem to recall them loudly demanding ‘Harp’ and then a woman in the corner starts playing a harp. Cue bewilderment all round.
The guy who played Barney also played Eric in Lovejoy.
Also, incredible production values for an advert targeting the Northern Ireland market.
The barman is the husband of Mary in Father Ted.
This unlocked a few memories, holy shit.
Also the production values on this were phenomenal for ’92. Red Dwarf was the biggest Sci Fi show on telly at the time and looks backstage at your local St Whoever primary school compared to this.
