Playing as Ireland, is there a way for me to get northern Ireland back diplomatically?

  1. Create a diplomatic organisation. Use a positive and progressive name, something like the Integration and Reconciliation Association. Oh wait..

  2. First you need to recruit Lady Arlene.

Once she’s had a chance to work away for a bit, reunion is pretty much guaranteed.

  3. Not sure but I conquered the known world as the Gaels in European Warfare 7, allied with the Basques and Bretons. An empire that ruled from Letterkenny to Jaffa, I had good generals though

  4. Sure; diplomatically forge an alliance with Francia and then diplomatically kick the emperor’s arse together.

Also, does CK3 have some sort of bizarro start date option, or is your copy of the game somehow cursed to form modern European states instead of ending up with the usual nonsense like the Christian Sultanate of England, the Sunni Kingdom of Denmark, and the pan-European pagan Empire of Lithuania fighting over who gets to occupy Iberia?

  5. Based on my Civilization 6 experience, be like Gandhi. A horrible warmonger with nukes. You can take what you want when they’re all dead or enslaved.

  6. Marry someone, honestly of you’ve gone that far and your not the king of pict and Ireland prior to Brittania you screwed up.

  7. Nah, fuck that. Invest in all your counties so you have a good bit of gold flowing in. Build up a nice war chest for which to hire mercenaries with and bate them off the land.

    Works for me, anyways.

  8. Absolutely, murder every king/Queen and their sons and daughters until Britannia falls apart.

Are you part of the empire? If so, you can request a claim internally… Get a hook on the king/queen

Lastly you could arrange marriage with the holder of the land you want and if it plays out right, you might be able to inherit.

r/ck3 is where you want to go… and if you get very interested in the game mechanics, I can’t recommend this YouTube channel enough https://youtube.com/@Zieley
