Rate my fry from weekend?

  1. Looks good but some minor criticisms.

    1. Only 2/3s of the bread looks toasted. If the slices are too big you have to pop the toaster and flip them in so that they’re properly done.

    2. Dairygold should be put in the bin immediately and replaced with real butter.

    3. I like beans but that’s a bit too many, lots of sauce contaminating the rest of the ingredients.

    4. For me personally, there’s too much on the plate. One less sausage, fewer beans etc would make it more appealing.

    5. I don’t see any white pudding, or do I but it’s been over done?

    6. Bit of potato bread would be nice.

    7. Egg overcooked, yolk has to be runny.

    Beans are only acceptable with a fry when they are in a separate ramekin. The sausage breakwater is a lie, you can already see bean juice getting out.

  3. I would give that a 8 out of 10, lose marks for the egg being slightly over cooked and dairy gold instead of real butter. Looks like a beauty, the sausages are particularly tasty looking

  4. 7/10 – pudding, sausages & rashers look really good, but the beans simply have to be in a separate dish and the fact that the sausages are directly in them is quite upsetting to me personally.

  5. It seems the “great Irish fry competition” could be a good 2 weeks on Reddit. I’d take part but I’m in Canada where sausages are weird, black pudding is illegal ( well not really but what you can buy here is shite), what they call butter isn’t butter and it would probably cost nearly 100 dollars to buy all the stuff if it even existed here.

    God I miss home, real black pudding, real sausages, real butter, creamy Guinness and walks with stiff sea breezes.
