So I randomly wanted to check if Watergun by Remo Forrer was in the Swiss charts on Spotify.
The hypothesis being that because he represented Switzerland at the ESC 2023, he might get a little boost domestically.
Que nenni. He was nowhere to be seen. Neither in “Hot Hits Switzerland”, “Top 50: Switzerland”, nor “Mega Hits 2023 Switzerland”.
What I did see though, in at least two of those playlists, was Mockingbird by Eminem.
I was wondering if there was a notable event or any other reason the song resurfaced now in Spotify top lists after coming out almost 20 years ago.
