Back in March my partner and I were at the snoop dogg concert in dublin. This was our second day of a 2 week trip ( from 🇨🇦 canada)
I had a many MANY drinks, went to the washroom at some point during the concert, and apparently left my phone there. In a Manic drunk panic after the concert as were about to get into a cab, I realized my phone was missing!! We went back to the building, and the security wouldn’t let me go back in. They said I had to come back tomorrow, however, we were heading to Cobh the next morning and I NEEDED my phone as it had all my identification and credit cards, boarding pass…as even more panic set in, a security guard came down with an arm full of phones, wallets, and purses! Under the huge pile was my phone! I unlocked it, as proof, and was good to go. Next morning I went to go through my photos to see what amazing drunk photos and videos I took, and came across THIS photograph as the last one took .THESE are the wonderful ladies who turned in my phone. If anyone knows them, please tell them thank you from the bottom of my ❤️ heart. My trip to Ireland was so amazing, and it could have been a nightmare without all my information on / in that phone. The Irish hospitality, locals and genuine niceness made me never want to leave . When people ask me about my trip, I tell them . Yes, Ireland IS a beautiful country, but the people are what make it amazing!

  1. Hahahaah the miserable cunts on this sub are downvoting this already (at 59% positive at time of writing) but I love seeing stuff like this. Far too much negativity on here, and the only positivity tends to be father ted posts or pictures of the cliffs of moher lol.

I was actually at Snoop Dogg too and had almost escaped with your phone when these two tackled me and got it back so they’re even more impressive 🤣

Edit: in fairness I do apologise it’s now risen to 85% so I look a right fool 🤣 guess I’m the miserable bastard now. Although I do find all the comments on the girl’s appearance’s a bit bizzare, maybe misogynistic is a bit far but there is a smell of incel off this thread.

And I was at snoop dogg but I wouldnt touch off your phone, androids are for poors 📱😆

  2. Imagine helping someone get their phone back and then they expose your face to millions of strangers on the internet. Good intentions and all that but…

  3. In the name of fuck, a woman lost a phone with her entire life on it here, and two girls returned it.

Why in the ever living fuck are most of the comments about the girls POTENTIALLY being British?

Cmon lads, get a fucking grip.

  4. Great to see some positivity in this sub. Enjoy the rest of your trip. Hope you’re seeing as much of the island as possible!

  5. Same thing happened to me, I think people just have some sort of instinct to take pictures whenever they find a phone lmfao

  6. Fair play to you ladies for handing the phone in. Fuck the begrudgers and miserable cunts with their personal attacks in the thread.

  7. Similar happened to me at Greta Van Fleet last summer, left my phone on a wall and just accepted it was gone forever. I’d set my lockscreen to a sc photo with my mam’s phone number as the caption and the fella that found it got in contact and mailed it back to me, wouldn’t even take the price of postage. I hope he’s having a great life.

  8. A few years ago I was visiting my company’s headquarters in Dublin. In my hurried walk from the hotel to the office, I dropped my phone. Had my wallet, ID, cards. I also had a then 5 month old at home across the pond and alllllll those pictures of them, gone.

I realized it when I had gotten all the way into the office, onto the 7th floor. I immediately rush outside in tears. A lad stops me and says “didya lose ya phone? A woman found it she’s in there”. A fellow commuter found it, and handed it in immediately. My American ass hugged her so hard which she DID NOT seem to reciprocate I was just so overcome with gratitude.

Irish hospitality is something else. If that happened here in the US it’d likely be gone forever.

  9. They’re both Irish beauties who lived up to our reputation of being stand up people!

Fair play ladies. This post made me smile
