The comment that tries to outline this as a Tory government failure is going to be a fantastic read. I can’t wait.
Countries and supranational organisations currently experiencing a recession:
* Eurozone ✅
* Germany ✅
* Brexit Britain ❌
Really makes you think.
The UK avoids recession because the Tory government does everything it can to prop up big business at the expense of the people.
Edit… big business!
The German economy was hit hard by its reliance on cheap Russian gas. They had to spend a shit ton of money to switch to LNG.
what recession… like saying, look the neighbors have a candle burning while your own house is on fire..
Britain hasnt experienced a recession as we’ve had an record breaking immigration which boosts GDP
Damn. If only the eurozone didn’t Brexit this would never have happened. SMH my head.
Still 2% bigger than pre-COVID levels, whereas UK is 0,5% smaller.
I like all the comments in here pretending this vindicates brexit because we have technically avoided a recession this year while the Eurozone hasn’t… Brexit can be a net negative for us, and the Eurozone can face difficulties, these aren’t mutually exclusive events.
