why are train signs in Slovakia in many different languages, but not English?

  1. they also dont have any signs in hungarian, the largest minority language, either, so it makes quite little sense indeed

  2. As a British person, I’m guessing it’s because you can’t take a train to Britain from Slovakia? Or because you WANT British people to open the door while the train is in motion?! 😉

  3. Well … there are not so many english speaking countries in EU or nearby … also train could’ve been made some time ago, as I see mostly english in the newer ones

  4. Slovakia would love to have all texts translated to English, but the only official translator speaking English was tortured and prizoned by aliens after he translated “Cudzinecka Policia” as Alien Police. It was found out that this was simply Google Translate job and he was just a copy&past translator. Since then, everyone is afraid to translate official texts to English.
