  2. 2001 i lived in Annascaul for a year, i practically lived in the Southpole Inn, that was Tom Crean’s pub. It was an experience….

  3. He was the prototype of Badass. Much respect. Ireland named a great new high-tech research ship after him last year, too.

  5. My distant uncle Patrick Keohane was another irishman on the Scott expedition with Crean. Lots of great info about him out there as well.
