Wasps are evil bastards. I have a potentially fatal wasp allergy.
Horseflies are worse.
Oh? Friends over for some cider and a good time? Don’t mind if I do!
I have such an intense fear of wasps, and bees but to a slightly lesser degree.
No wasps here yet. Saw a monster of a hornet sniffing around the window box.
Here is a fact about Wasps.
They are carnivores, they only go for sweets and sugars once they are in retirement and have about a week or so left to live. So let them enjoy their retirement.
Pest meet my good friend insecticide!
I don’t think I’ve seen a single wasp this summer. Plenty of bees though.
Woke up to a wasp in my room. I ran out so fast and shut the door 🤣
Since I stopped moving and just let them be I’ve not been attacked by one of them. I think they must react to the fear or something. Used to flail around with a tea towel like twat trying to kill them.
Actually like wasps and would welcome them to hang out around my windows, patio, back yard as they keep flies, bluebottles and midges away. Spiders are also welcome into my house for the same reason.
As a kid in primary school one day in PE the ball went over the building at one end. To get it you had to walk all the way around the back of the building. Me and another lad were sent to look for it. He found it but instead of just carrying it back he tried to kick it over. He failed and it rebounded into a bush and whacked a wasp nest. They weren’t pleased. They swarmed out and covered me as we ran like hell. I was stung about 25 times on the head and neck. When we finally made it back to the rest of the class there was some screaming from the rest as I was covered in them – teacher ran over and eventually managed to swot them off me.
Yeah I don’t like wasps.

I once found what I thought was a bumblebee drowning in a small puddle.
I tried to help it out with my finger, turns out it was actually a bastard wasp and it decided it’s final act in it’s life would be to sting me right on the tip of my finger.
Woke up with one on my chin a few weeks ago then after i threw it off me it disappeared. I still dread it’s return one day
I don’t understand how people get stung by them so much. They never bother me.
Interestingly enough I haven’t seen a single wasp all year
