Hello,
Today (Sunday) I accidentally drove on the closed road in Krucza/Bracka with my car with an Estonia license plate. Only later did I notice the sign “Kontrola wjazdu” at the entrance to the road. Will I be fined for this? Thanks!
You are very lucky that there weren’t any cops there. I made a similar mistake and had to pay a 1000 PLN fine.
They might chase you down.
if you didnt park there and noone pulled you over you should be fine i guess
First they’d have notice you driving there (they might have a recording or photos).
Then they’d have to look you. Whether they bother to do so remains unknown, but it is likely.
Then your estonian law enforcement’s cooperation is needed.
If those 3 conditions are fulfilled, you will be fined.
You most probably won’t get a ticket if you have Estonian plates.
I made similar mistake in Slovakia in my car registered in Poland, only that I entered paid highway, instead of following the unpaid road. I immediately exited the highway the very next exit and never got the fine for not paying for highway.
I read somewhere, that due to GDPR police your country won’t share car owner’s data withpokice form other country if it’s a petty crime not putting anyone in immediate danger.
Not paying for highway, or entering no-drive zone isn’t anything dangerous, unlike speeding, so GDPR shuts them down.
Might be wrong though.
I got a fine in Gdansk, similar situation. 200 PLN.
Very fine.
I would say it is rather unlikely. Wait around 3 months if you dont get ticket you can be almost sure nothing will come.
Don’t worry, it’ll be just fine.
You are lucky, you have Estonian plates. Then you will just be fined for the value of the car.
If you would have PL plates, it’s a different story – it would be towed away and gone ..
This is one of the extremely few places in the city where people could hang out without cars roaming around, so yes, you missed a big no-entry sign. It’s a pity the city doesn’t install physical blocks, as too many people are missing the sign or ignoring it.
What is identyfikator NC?
it means that there (thinking its Warszawa) no bicycles allowed.
