2. Bono was very kind on the radio this morning talking about him better than that asshole dave fanning

3. I just saw a video on the RTÉ website and thousand of people in Finglas had lined the streets as his hearse passed. They were singing Crazy World, as the hearse passed, and the song was playing on loudspeaker from one of the cars in the cortège, also.

   Finglas gets such a bad rap here. There’s a big sense of community in the area. Yes, there’s been criminality over the years, but the majority are hard working, decent people, who themselves, are victims to this antisocial behaviour.

4. Genuine question – do people who actually know who him call him Paul or Bono?

6. You know, they could have been massive, but , well, you know the truth. You can take the man out of Finglas, but can’t take Finglas out of the man. Not Christies fault, but an incident of birth

7. I only bought the book My Crazy World by Christy last month,i know it’s about 4 years published but its the next book i’m going to read.So sad that he’s passed.God bless you Christy Dignam.
