False widow season is here. This one was colonising an old cereal box (hence the barcode) in a neglected kitchen shelf for a while.

2. I don’t know if this is just the camera angle, but that looks like one huge spider.

   Barcodes are pretty small though, so in reality it probably isn’t that big, just the camera perspective is making it seem that way.

5. My mum got bitten by one before, nearly went into anaphylactic shock. In saying that they really aren’t that dangerous. They are unlikely to bite and your chances of being allergic to the venom is rare. That being said i would just be cautious, check those bedsheets frequently!
