somewhat unrelated but maybe someone knows: I got the first two doses of the tick encephalitis vaccine but then forgot to go back for the third dose in time (should have went in December). Do I have to redo the first two doses or can i just go to get the third one now?
(yes I know I should ask my doctor, and I will. but maybe someone knows it here as well 🙂 )
Great idea! Just now a friend is suffering from Hirnhautentzündung and has severely limited speaking abilities. Not vaccinated. It was 50/50 if he actually survives.
Get the vaccine, even if you are not the outdoor-type. These fucking buggers are now present in most gardens.
Was just picking cherries (in shorts) when I felt a really sharp pain on my calf….I look back and see a tick….Brushed it off quickly….Lucky I guess….I don’t see how you can not notice a tick has latched on and is sucking your blood…..Are some more “gentle” about it?
