Must be the same as the Lidl W5 Glasses wipes, haven’t seem them either in a few months.
I love these and not found an equivalent as good. It’s not as convenient as these wipes but I find the specsavers glasses cleaner in a spray bottle to be a good alternative.
I never heard of those but have been buying similar ones from Amazon
You can check Aldi’s Specialbuys each week online so you can see what’s coming in and when.
I use hot water & washing-up liquid & my fingers. Does a fantastic job. I stopped wasting money on expensive cleaning kits 3 decades ago. My family occassionally buy those kits but then they run out & won’t wash their glasses until they remember to buy them again, or wait for a shop to restock them, or they misplace them, so they walk around with dirty lenses with fingerprint smudges while my glasses are consistently cleaner than theirs, any time we visit each other.
Two tips:
Do this separate to washing your dishes. Do not immerse entirely into hot water, you’d risk warping the frames. A bit of hot water from the tap, rub around a touch of fairy with soaking wet fingers, rinse under tap.
1 clean paper towel to dry, not the grimey teatowel that happens to be near the sink.
Tiger always stock pretty decent ones
Bought a box in Tesco the other day. They’re near where the contact lens stuff is.
