  3. Only in Poland I saw people smiling downwards… But still, some countries they have yellow fake smiles so… Don’t know what’s better

  4. Ok, but.. Can we make it an international meme. Fits perfect.

  5. In Poland I’ve seen just “middle class” smile. People with low jobs/poorer tend to be more miserable and conflictive, while people with more money tend to be upstart/pretentious and serious.

  6. Smiling in Poland…

What are you a criminal or a creep?!?

  7. This is not sadness or anger. This is being comfortable with not giving a flying fuck and maybe thinking about what to eat for dinner.

  8. I work remotely with some great co-workers that are from Poland and they all seem to be upset about something all the time. Notably if we start speaking they cheer up and everything is normal, but it seems their normal mood is the downward smile like this picture. hahah

  9. true, we only smile when something goofy happens or when flirting lmao … or drunk

  10. when I’m outside i always smile – to let them know how much on the edge am I

  11. Hell nah, I won’t be smiling at random people. I’m too Polish for that.

  12. We smile when there’s a reason, our neutral, standard expression can be interpreted by some as slightly grumpy.

  13. I had to make a new photo for my CV and the lady taking the photos told me to smile a little. I was already smiling… She asked me where I’m from and after saying that I’m from Poland she went: “Ah yes, you don’t smile over there.” 😅

  14. Look at Mr Happy McHappface, he must have gotten a promotion, win a main prize in a lottery or probably both.
