As an Indian who grew up with slippers thrown at their head, nothing can compare to the raw power of a South Asian uncle/aunty wielding footwear.
Almost as if it would be helpful for sensible and sane good samaritans to be allowed to carry some kind of self defence equipment, something that could stop an attacker from several feet away with a projectile.
I mean, it’s not like the police are stepping in to help half the time.
