Waterford is rapidly developing into quite a museum hotspot.
The Irish Museum of Time (Clocks & watches), Irish Wake Museum, Irish Silver Museum, the Viking Triangle, The Medieval Museum, Reginald’s Tower, the Bishops palace and no doubt more that I am forgetting.
If Hank Scorpio were here? No doubt it’d be known as Ireland’s museum district
Full Disclosure :
I made the tall skinny guy on the right , it’s a copy of the 15th century Cadaver statue of the 7th Earl of Arundel (John Fitzalan).
The original is in Arundel Castle, Sussex.
I hear they are setting up a new Choc Ice exhibit.
I’m waiting for the Museum of Museums to open. It could be like a one stop shop 😆
This is 100% my museum bag. I shall be paying a visit.
People are dying to get in there…
How fascinating, (and yes, as another comment says, Waterford looks like a brilliant place for a break, so many great places to visit. It’s yonks since I was there.)
That’s a terrific replica. I happened to be reading a thing about various Lords Arundel earlier, so it’s extra-exciting. Spooky and thoroughly ‘modern nightmare realistic’ for the 15th century isn’t it!
Those people were alive when they went in
When you say new. Does that mean there more multiple death museums. What are the lads up to down there.
