Can anyone beat my record for steps in 24 hours?

  1. What the hell were ya doing?

I remember doing like 38,000 during a 14hr shift at football stadium

My shoe soles were lasting like 3 months in that job, most days were 20k+

  2. 100k steps…that’s like 16 hours of solid walking with no breaks.

Doesn’t sound believable OP. Did ya put your watch on your dog?

  3. Completed an action challenge (peak district) in the UK a few years back. That’s 100km in 24 hours of walking. Was about 130k in steps after the 24 hours. Don’t have a screenshot as this was pre-covid so several phones ago!

  4. There was someone in this forum before, at least I think it was here, boasting about their steps. They’d come on and say they did 35k steps in a day, and then say things like they’d do a quick 10k steps at lunch, and their job involved them walking around work to check on people so they where on the move.

It was all a bit weird becuase they where boasting and got offended when people questioned how they did it… At least that’s how I remember it…

  5. At a festival i done 80k, but was listening to techno in a tent for about 16 hours of the day. We’ll say the heart rate was above normal levels for that day

    These my two best.

Was absolutely sapped of energy after the first one. I’d wanted to go further but physically couldn’t. Still somehow had enough in me to go the pub later that evening.

Every bit of me was in absolute bits after the second one. My feet were on fire and I was genuinely nearly going delirious. Slept for twelve hours as soon as I hit the hotel bed.
