Johnson has the connections to get Gove decent quality gack so keeps his mouth shut if he wants a taste.
I forgot what Gove looks like, it’s hard to remember given his head is usually shoulders deep up the backside of whatever the parasite considers a host at the time.
A shame as when he works independently, he’s not completely awful. His environmental and housing comments signalled a turn the right way. Just a pity there was no significant oomph behind them.

So why would he abstain from a vote to uphold sovereignty of government by respecting the institutions?

And abstaining just reinforces that contempt unable to make the glaringly obvious decision. In case it hinders future earnings or influence. This whole cabinet are a disgrace without exception.
