  1. There is lot of “souvenir coins” like this in poland. They are pretty rare, and probably worth slightly more than the value on the coin, but u can actually pay with it if u want.

U can see full list of them here

  2. Its a kind of collection coin. Keep it as a souvenir or just pay with it as normal.

  3. It’s a collectible coin depicting the beautiful and well-preserved Moszna (ballsack) castle. Its monetary value is 5 zł, but you can try to buy/sell one for sth around 9 zł.

  4. You can pay with it. They’re souvenirs but still a legitimate money.

I wouldn’t do that though! It a collectable that is often more valuable that a regular 5 zł. And most importantly, it’s cool looking

  5. Ah yes, the good old Ballsack Castle. Quite a pretty place, actually. Worth visiting, and it’s close to A4.

  6. some collector edition coin.
They usually aren’t worth much more.
Unless you want to buy them.

  7. They are polish currency called Złote. This one compared to usa dollars in 2015 was worth 1.5 dollard
    Idk

  9. I have a 7 złotych bimetallic coin left in Belarus. It was bought in some souvenir shop, but I didn’t take my collection during relocation 🙁

  10. Looks like I need to start checking my change more often!

  11. Yup. Relatively rare, but don’t worry. It has the same nominal value as any other 5 PLN coin. But personally I would keep it for myself or try to sell this on slightly greater price to collectors of such special coins

  12. Have you kept it? It look so clean, polished, and new! 💖

  13. Its a 5 pln coin or 1,23$ i dont think its rare. I think the rarest polish bill/coin is the 500 pln one. im saying pln but you can also say zł or złoty. i am just a polish person that knows english. So feel sree to ask me anything.

  14. I remember I had some special 2 PLN like that with the Castle in Kórnik (Castle in chicken coop).

  15. The back of the coin says “Castle in Scrotum” just FYI

  16. A lot of people saying it’s a sourveneir coin are only partially correct. It is a normal coin that can normally used as currency, but it comes from a limited run that was pressed to commemorate something. This one was pressed to celebrate 9ne of the more impressive castles in Poland.
