Hello? Recently I was surfing on the DB official site to search for cheaper train tickets. Then I found the €49 per month [Deutschland-Ticket Offer](https://www.bahn.com/en/offers/regional/deutschlandticket) that was introduced less than two years ago. After reading some of the faqs regarding this offer, I still has some questions regarding it:
1. Is booking/reserving seats possible while using Deutschland-Ticket?
2. Is reserving/booking seats free while using Deutschland Ticket?
3. Which are the important RE (Regional Express) lines operated by DB Fernverkehr AG, which is not compatible with Deutschland-Ticket usage
I would be very grateful for any answers regarding such above questions. Thank you! 🙂
Edit: Thank you everyone for answering my question! Hope you have a nice day!

There are no reserved seats on regional trains
>1. Is booking/reserving seats possible while using Deutschland-Ticket?
No. Reserving seats is only possible in ICE or IC trains, which are not included in the 49€ ticket.
>2. Is reserving/booking seats free while using Deutschland Ticket?
See above.
>3. Which are the important RE (Regional Express) lines operated by DB Fernverkehr AG, which is not compatible with Deutschland-Ticket usage
Don’t know that by heart. These are really rare exceptions.

If I’m not mistaken, the exceptions of RE trains are listed in the wiki
