‘Large-scale communication campaign’: Left Party slams government for lackluster response to construction sector challenges

  1. I’m a simple man; i see ‘slams’ in a title i downvote. It ain’t much, but it’s honest work. No traffic for shitty headlines.

  2. Not sure what these guys really want.

    Quote from the article:

“*One glaring omission, according to the Left Party, is the government’s failure to address the predicament faced by individuals who find themselves compelled to sell their homes due to rising interest rates but are currently unable to find buyers.*”

They probably never heard of the expression “I felt bad about a man with no shoes, until a met a man with no feet”.

Note 1: I’m not at all a supporter of the current housing ministry Kox or any of his measures. So my comment is not advocating for any other party.

Note 2: OP has only 3 comments and a lot of post with news links, so don’t know about his game either.

  3. “[…]a public financing system should be introduced, “guaranteeing that no household would have to go into debt with private financial institutions.””

That is quite an ambitious idea, turning the government into a direct competitor for banks. I do not think it possible though, given the pressure this might put on public finances.
