What on earth possessed them to walk along a live railway in the first place. Is this a thing out west?
Were they drunk? It’s not making sense how this happened when the train blew its horn for so long.
How in the absolute shit does someone manage to get hit by a train sounding its horn unless you’re deaf and or blind?
Especially considering trains in this country go about as fast as someone can cycle a bike….

Probably didn’t jump far enough to be in the clear, trains are alot wider than the tracks they run on

Lads someone has passed away and was loved by many. Stop the speculations, the scrutiny and the judgment. A mother/ daughter/ aunt and sister is dead so have some respect. You can wish prayers for the family rather than air your suspicions.
I personally know a relative of hers.

I understand they heard and saw the train but apparently underestimated the space required so as not to be hit?
